Osu On Mac
Office 365 Overview. OSU is activating Microsoft Office 365 for Students in September 2014. Office 365 for students includes: five (5) free licenses to download and install Office, Office Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
Office 365 is the name for a suite of online collaboration services, and is not a new version of Office. The version of Office that students can download from Office 365 is Office 2016 Pro Plus. Sign In: to access Office 365 services you will need to use your email address. OneDrive is particularly exciting as it will offer 1TB of online storage. This service is similar to Dropbox. Click here for more information about OneDrive for Business. Office Online provides the ability to create, edit and collaborate real-time on documents in native Office formats within a web browser, without having to convert the files.
Share your documents easily via email, web, blogs, and OneDrive. Please note that student email will remain on Gmail at this time. The offered Office 365 Apps are covered under an agreement with Microsoft, so you may use these apps to store University data and conduct University business.
Please refer to the security policy on what specific information may be stored. More about OSU and Microsoft Services. Office 365 for Education is free for Students; OSU is not paying Microsoft beyond our standard annual campus license agreement. All these services are included in the current contract for no additional charge.
The University is not requiring any employee to use any Office 365 service. The University is not taking any existing service offline as a result of bringing Microsoft Office 365 for OSU online. Support and training on Office 365 can be found in the Service Desk Knowledge Base. Accessibility for Office 365 Office Online works in a web browser. This makes its accessibility features work a little differently than Office desktop programs.
For example, keyboard shortcuts might not be the same and the page layouts are different. However, all the keyboard shortcuts and other accessibility features that you know from the browser work in Office Online. You can also use the browser controls to zoom, to change text size, and to control screen colors. Office Online provides WAI-ARIA support for assistive technologies (WAI-ARIA stands for Web Accessibility Initiative-Accessible Rich Internet Applications).
If you use an assistive technology such as a screen reader or speech recognition software, you will have the best experience in Office Online if the assistive technology that you use supports WAI-ARIA. Note: VoiceOver users on the Mac OS X platform may experience mixed results in accessibility depending on the web browser being used. The Safari web browser is recommended for Office 365 Online. Microsoft Accessibility Documentation. Microsoft provides additional help for accessibility needs.
Please go here for additional assistance: Additional Help or Questions about Accessibility If you have questions about using your assistive technologies, contact. For general questions about accessibility at OSU, contact the.
Credit goes to REMR and Cjelli at the Steam Users’ Forums. I’ve posted the process here as another reference and in case the posts get deleted. There also seemed to be some confusion, so screenshots are included with this tutorial. Gamers wishing to spice up their Steam client app simply have to download a skin and install it, right? That’s only true for the Windows version of Steam.
(In case you’re wondering how, you simply paste the folder containing the skin’s files into skins.) On Mac OS X, however, simply mimicking the process by copying the skin folder into Steam.app’s package contents doesn’t get it done. Before starting, ensure that you can navigate to your /Library directory. It may be hidden if you are using Mac OS X Lion. There is a registry file that must also be edited to force Steam to use the new skin.
This method may also require more maintenance than the Windows version because each update will reportedly overwrite the edited file (and possibly erase the skin folder). Without further ado, here’s the illustrated skin installation procedure: Directions.
Navigate to Steam.app in Finder. Right-click it and select ‘Show Package Contents’. Go to ‘Contents/MacOS/skins’. Copy the folder which directly contains your desired skin. Paste the skin into Steam.app’s skins directory. Go to ‘/Library/Application Support/Steam’ and open registry.vdf with your text editor of choice. Add 'SkinV4' ' to the list inside 'Registry' 'HKCU' 'Software' 'Valve' 'Steam'.
How To Download And Install An Osu Skin For Mac Download
Save the file, and you’re set. ( The current beta uses “SkinV4” rather than “SkinV3”. Thanks, ATLbandit.).
Please let me know if and how this “tutorial” can be made clearer. You can also check for the source of information. Caveats. I don’t think skins are officially supported on the Mac version of Steam. Keep a copy of the skin you’re installing, or make sure it’s available for download later. As mentioned before, Steam may erase your change to registry.vdf when updating, so don’t be shocked when the default skin loads up after the next update.
Just make the same modification, and it’ll work again. It turns out that the SkinV4 setting is reset to a blank value every time you change your Steam settings. No Comments Comments are closed.
