Fallen from Asgard – Munin is an upcoming 2D puzzle platformer developed by indie studio Gojira and published by Daedelic Entertainment. Heavily entrenched in Nordic lore, the game will have players assume the role of Munin, the raven messenger of Odin. (2 replies) Hello, Is there an official and/or working version of munin-node for Mac OS X? Or if there isn't, did somebody install munin-node on Mac OS X?

Using macports i installed munin, which als implies perl 5.8.9, all in /opt/local. The perl from macosx is in /usr/bin/perl so seems not to interfere. I tried to search the mailing list archive, but cannot find out how to do that.

So here is my newbie munin for OSX question: I run munin nodes on Linux (Centos, Debian, SME), Windows (XP) and sveral Macs: - 10.5 dual G5e - 10.5 G4 - 10.5 G5 - 10.5 Core Solo - 10.6 Core Duo on all I installed macports, and then port selfupdate port install munin port load munin changed config to allow the (linux) host. /opt/local/sbin/munin-node all 5 were working fine. But last week the G4 and G5 stopped working: /opt/local/var/log/munin/munin-node.log (all ok) 2010/07/07-14:51:51 Server closing! The munin-node in trunk contains fixes for OS X. Yes, it's 'just adding some Perl scripts', but if it has been done beforelet's not reinvent the wheel:) Of course it would be very cool if someone packaged in some format handy on a mac. That would be awesome. Is there some howto to get munin working on OS X/Darwin? - Philippe Sainte-Marie Director of MIS Infrastructure Conceited Software philippe@.
